A coaching website with two clear paths

The need
Tammy needed a website that explained her services without asking visitors to compare nine separate offers on their own.
The approach
The new design groups leadership training and communication coaching into two paths, supported by client stories and a clear first conversation.

Where Tammy started

Tammy built her first Leadership Learners website herself while also building the business. The site presented nine services, leaving visitors to work out which offer fit their needs.

The redesign brings those services into two paths: leadership training for managers and teams, and communication coaching for individuals. Each path explains the support available and leads to a conversation about the visitor’s goals.

What the redesign included

  • A homepage with separate paths for managers and teams, and for individuals.
  • Service descriptions grouped under leadership training and communication coaching.
  • Client stories and a three-step explanation of starting a conversation with Tammy.

Before

Tammy’s old Wix homepage: a John Maxwell quote, the Leadership Learners logo, a mission statement and a bio printed over her photo
The old homepage. It opened with a quote, a mission statement and a long bio set over her photo. What Tammy offers, and who it’s for, came further down.

Before

Tammy’s old services page: a grid of service cards, most of them DISC assessments, each with a Book Now button
The old services. Nine services, several of them versions of the same DISC assessment, each with its own Book Now button. Visitors had to work out on their own which one fit.

The new homepage, section by section

Tammy serves two different people: managers who want their teams to communicate better, and individuals who want to speak with confidence. The new page lets each of them find their way.

  1. Leadership Learners homepage header: “Build a stronger team. Speak with more confidence,” beside Tammy’s portrait, with Develop my team and Build my communication skills links

    01

Say what she does, for both audiences, at once

The headline covers both sides of Tammy’s work: build a stronger team, speak with more confidence. Under it, two buttons let a visitor choose their path before they scroll: develop my team, or build my communication skills.

  2. Section headed “Which path fits you?” with two cards: Leadership Training for managers and teams, and Communication Coaching for individuals

    02

Sort nine services into two paths

Instead of nine services to compare, there are two paths: leadership training for managers and teams, and communication coaching for individuals. Each lists only the services that belong to it.

  3. Section headed “It’s frustrating when your message doesn’t get through,” with one column for managers and teams and one for individuals

    03

    Show each reader she understands

One side speaks to managers whose teams keep coming back to the same misunderstandings. The other speaks to individuals who find it hard to be heard. Each reader sees their own frustration named, where the old page had a mission statement.

  4. Success Stories section with three client quotes

    04

Let clients say it, by name

Two business owners and a public-speaking client say what working with Tammy did for them, in their own words.

  5. Section headed “Your next step starts with a conversation,” with three numbered steps

    05

Make the first step a conversation

Three steps: tell Tammy your goal, choose the right support, begin working together. Approach and cost are part of that first conversation, so nobody has to price nine services before they’ve talked to her.

  • See in one line what Tammy does, and for whom.
  • Choose the path for their team or for themselves.
  • Read what clients say, in their own words.
  • Call or email Tammy to talk through their goals.
